Chrome side panel

Orbb, in your browser.

Orbb lives in Chrome’s side panel, right next to the page. Save what you’re reading, drop in files, and pull over everything you already saved on Instagram, Reddit, and X.

Saved · Orbb

The panel stays open as you browse, so saving never costs you the tab you’re on.

What it does

Six ways in, one library.

One click saves the page you’re on

The side panel already knows the tab you’re looking at. Hit save and it lands in Orbb, ready to be read and categorized.

Drop anything into it

Links, images, audio, text, and files up to 10 MB. Drag them straight onto the panel or choose them from disk.

Right-click to capture

A context-menu item for pages, links, images, and whatever text you have selected. No panel required.

Bring over what you already saved

Import Instagram saved posts and folders, Reddit saved posts, and X bookmarks. Folder names come along.

Or let it collect on a schedule

Run it manually, or every 30 minutes, hourly, every 6 hours, or daily. Chrome has to be running for a scheduled run to fire.

No duplicates, no messy URLs

URLs are normalized and de-duplicated locally before anything is sent, so re-saving a page doesn’t clutter your library.

How importing works

Orbb never asks for a social password.

Worth being precise about, because importing your saved posts sounds like it should need one. It doesn’t.

  • It uses the session you already have

A sync opens the provider’s saved-items page in an inactive Chrome tab and reads it using the account already signed in to that site. Nothing is asked for, and nothing is stored.

  • The tab closes when it’s done

The inactive tab is opened for the collection and closed afterwards. Scheduled runs only fire while Chrome is actually running.

  • Sign-in is a QR code, not a password

You authorize the extension from the Orbb app on your phone. It receives a 30-day, write-only token, and signing out revokes that session remotely.

Get started

Three steps, one scan.

  1. 01Add to Chrome

Install from the Chrome Web Store, then pin Orbb to your toolbar.

  2. 02Scan to sign in

The panel shows a QR code. Authorize it from the Orbb app on your iPhone — no password is typed into the browser.

  3. 03Start saving

Click the toolbar icon to open the side panel on any page, and save as you browse.

Save it before the tab closes.

Add Orbb to Chrome and everything you keep shows up on your iPhone and Mac too.
